My daughter was looked after in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at King's College Hospital for 8 days. During that time my wife and I witnessed the incredible work of the doctors and nurses in NICU. Not only is expert medical care given, the staff within this unit also go above and beyond to ensure patients and parents alike are made as comfortable and reassured as possible during a very stressful time. I am using the Great North Run to contribute as much as possible to help this Unit continue their crucial work.
