Robin Hood Half Marathon 2025 · 28 September 2025 ·

Join Team Footprints on Sunday 28th September to take on the Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon, fundraising to put smiles on children's faces and to empower children with communication and mobility difficulties to achieve their full potential.

Story

For the second time, George has decided to do the Robin Hood Mini Marathon to raise money for Footprints.

George used to attend Footprints regularly before he started school, and they played an important role in his rehab following SDR surgery on his spinal cord in September 2022.

George has cerebral palsy and is unable to stand or walk unaided. He uses a wheelchair and walking frame to get around. He is hoping to complete as much of the Mini Marathon route as possible in his walking frame, and will do the rest in his wheelchair. He has been training hard and is hoping to beat last year’s time of 33:29. We would be so grateful for any donation you can spare - each one spurs him on to his goal!
