Story
Thomas is a finalist for the Sir Terry Wogan Young Fundraiser of the Year award 2023.
In 2022 Thomas rode 67 miles over 3 weeks and raised over £1800 for children in need.
Today Thomas attempted a 15 mile ride, unfortunately the cycle track was muddy and boggy in places, this along with the weather proved very challenging for Thomas.
He didn't quite finish the intended ride today but I know he will smash it next time ........ and what a lesson we can all learn from this.
What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?
Failure often disappoints, which can discourage us from trying in the first place, never mind trying things again.
One of life's lessons - success and failure, and whether we keep trying or give up is what makes a difference.
Thomas will keep trying - because he loves life.
My beautiful, resilient, loving and caring boy - most people only see what is, and never see what can be. Some of the worlds most wonderful people are the ones that don't fit into society's boxes.
Please help Thomas smash his target 👊
It doesn’t matter if it’s 50p, £1, £5 or £50 - every penny counts and can make a real difference and improve the lives of thousands of children by ensuring that their childhood is safe, happy and secure. Things most of us take for granted.
