Goals for advocacy

Blackpool Sixth is raising money for Empowerment Charity Lancashire

Charity football match · 25 March 2026

Empowerment's vision is to work alongside people in Blackpool and the Fylde Coast who feel they have no voice and are not listened to; so that they are empowered to bring about real and positive change to their own lives and the lives of others.

Story

We are hosting a charity football match to raise awareness for Voices in Mental Health, supported by Blackpool Advocacy, a charity dedicated to ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard, especially when it comes to mental health and wellbeing.

The match will be an exciting showdown between students and teachers, and promises to be fun, competitive, and full of community spirit.

We are passionate supporters of healthcare and believe that people of all ages should be heard and supported when they need it most. This match is our way of combining sport, teamwork, and awareness to make a real difference for mental health in our community.

By supporting Dan, Max and Harry, you are helping us amplify the voices of those who need support, reduce stigma, and raise vital funds for mental health initiatives.

Thank you for helping us make sure everyone feels heard 💛⚽
