HELP KORT SAVE LIVES AND AID FOOD AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES THROUGH BUILDING THE LARGEST FREE-OF-COST HOSPITAL IN AZAD KASHMIR, AND PROVIDE FOR THOSE IN URGENT NEED IN GAZA.
7 individuals are taking part in this challenge of running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours straight. This symbolizes the endurance and persistence demonstrated by those supported by KORT, as well as the KORT team themselves in aiding humanity. I myself will be completing the challenge on the 8th - 10th March 2024, whereas other members of my group will be undertaking it on different weekends within March-April due to various external commitments.
With a population of 4 million people spread out over 5 thousand square miles, access to a healthcare facility is a major issue in Azad Kashmir. Those who do live near a healthcare facility are not able to afford expensive lifesaving treatments or find that the facility does not provide specialist services that they need. To alleviate the pain of the suffering population in Azad Kashmir, KORT is building the largest hospital in AJK to provide free quality healthcare for all.
In addition to this, The current Gaza crisis has left thousands of people in desperate need of humanitarian aid, medical care, and protection. The ongoing violence and blockade have created a humanitarian catastrophe that is worsening by the day. Through working with trusted partners, medical care and emergency food supplies are being handed to those in need.
KORT are an excellent organisation providing invaluable humanitarian aid in countries facing severe social, economic and climate challenges. The money donated will go a long way, helping those who are much less fortunate than we are.
Any amount of Sadaqah, Lillah, shares, and general donations are welcome.
