Story
Golf Fore was created with a simple idea: use golf to make a real difference in people’s lives.
This isn’t just a golf day — it’s a story, It's our mission.
We’re raising £1,000 by July 2026 to support meaningful causes that change lives, strengthen communities, and give people hope and opportunity.
Every penny raised through Golf Fore goes directly toward that mission.
What makes this different is transparency:
You’ll always know where your money goes, who it helps, and the real impact you’ve made.
Whether you donate £5 or £50, you’re helping turn sport into support, and moments on the course into lasting change off it.
This campaign isn’t about perfection — it’s about people coming together for something that matters and supporting those with similar stories to ours.
Thank you for being part of it.
How Your Donation Helps:
Here’s exactly how your support makes an impact:
70p in every £1 spent goes towards our palliative and bereavement support.
£25 – could pay for a patient’s meals for the day in one of our hospices.
£30 - could fund an hour of expert care, so our Sue Ryder doctors and nurses can manage patients’ pain and symptoms, and make more space for a family’s final days to be filled with love.
£65 - could provide one therapy session such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy or complementary therapy. Relaxing therapies and techniques such as aromatherapy and massage can help to promote wellbeing and ease someone’s symptoms.
£75 - could pay for one Online Bereavement Counselling Service session, supporting someone who is grieving.
£720 - could help fund another 24 hours of expert care so that someone can spend their final days in familiar surroundings, with treasured memories and their family.
It costs around £3,893 for someone to be cared for at home in their final days by a Sue Ryder Hospice at Home Nurse.
Across Sue Ryder, it costs around £6,800 a week for our expert teams to travel into the community to provide essential support to patients and their families.
£16,000 would pay to run one of our Sue Ryder hospices for a day. Our dedicated hospice teams include doctors, nurses, care assistants, occupational therapists and family support teams filling final days with kindness and love.
Every contribution moves us closer to our £1,000 goal — and closer to real-world impact.
