Golf Marathon to Raise Money for Pediatric Cancer Patients!!

Once again, we will be raising much needed monies for the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Pediatric Oncology team! Over the past 8 years we have played more than 860 holes and raised over $230,000 for Dr. Jean Tersak and her fantastic team!

This August 7th, Bruce Berman, Chris Branvold, Pat Bostick, and Rick Platt will be teeing it up at Chartiers Country Club and playing another 100+ holes and raising money for this great cause.

In the past several years our efforts have been solely focused on supporting the efforts of Dr. Tersak and her team in the Survivorship Clinic.

With treatments steadily improving and resulting in more survivors, this is one of the biggest needs at UPMC Childrens Pediatric Oncology unit.

Our recent efforts have enabled the clinic to DOUBLE the number of clinical trials available to survivors!

As Dr. Tersak states:

“With so many survivors, we now have the opportunity, not to mention the obligation, to be sure we help childhood cancer survivors to live the healthiest, fullest lives possible as cancer survivors.”
