Fundraiser for Shere and Peaslake Scout Group

Danielle Edwards is raising money for Shere and Peaslake Scout Group

24hr cycle ride · 29 August 2026

Our Scout Group gives young people the chance to discover adventure, build confidence and learn skills for life. We support Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from across our local community, offering fun, inclusive and challenging activities led by trained volunteers. Each week, young people take part in outdoor adventures, teamwork challenges, creative projects, community impact work and opportunities that help them grow as individuals. We believe every child should be able to join in, regardless of background or circumstance. Fundraising helps us keep Scouting affordable and accessible. It supports equipment, activity materials, training for volunteers, and ensures we can offer camps, trips and experiences that some families would otherwise struggle to afford. We are committed to giving every young person the chance to try new things, make friends, develop resilience and feel proud of what they achieve. By supporting our fundraising, you help us open the door to adventure for all.

Story

Help Shere & Peaslake Scouts go the extra mile!

We are taking on a 24-hour cyclathon at The Gomshall Mill to raise funds for our Scout group.

We'll be taking turns on the bikes for 24 hours, with one constantly running, putting our determination (and legs!) to the test. Every donation, however big or small, will help support the group and provide exciting activities, adventures and opportunities for our young people.

Please support us if you can, every pound will make a difference!
