Story
The boys have chosen to support another local charity this year. The Beachy head Chaplaincy Team is a volunteer-based charity that patrol the cliffs of Beachy Head, offering support to people in distress. The team helps prevent suicide through conversation and care. Every day someone goes to Beachy Head to end their life and the Chaplaincy Team are there when they need it most. The team patrols 365 days a year, regardless of the conditions, and are there to listen, stay, and help find a reason to step back.
There are so many great causes in the UK and abroad, but the boys feel strongly that they wish to help in their local community and support Tanya, our matron, who volunteers at the Chaplaincy when she isn’t running Gonville House.
