This fundraiser is inspired by our own experience with infertility and IVF, and by the incredible care we received through the Hewitt Fertility Centre at Liverpool Women’s Hospital. While fertility challenges can affect anyone, access to compassionate, specialist care can make all the difference during one of the most emotionally demanding times of life.

Our family’s journey to parenthood was not the path we expected. Following years of waiting, treatment, and perseverance, IVF helped us welcome our son, Harrison - a long-awaited miracle who later inspired the children’s book 'Good Night, Little Rainbow'. That outcome would not have been possible without the dedication, expertise, and support of fertility professionals who walk alongside families when the road feels overwhelming.

While our story is one of hope, we know that many individuals and couples are still navigating infertility, facing difficult decisions, long waiting lists, and emotional strain. Fertility treatment is not just medical - it is deeply human, and the need for funding, research, education, and patient support has never been greater.

That’s why we are raising funds through Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity, with all donations ring-fenced specifically for the Hewitt Fertility Centre. Your support will help enhance fertility services, improve patient experience, and ensure that people going through treatment receive the care, dignity, and support they deserve.
