Cystic fibrosis is often thought of as a condition that affects only the lungs - but for many families, its impact reaches far beyond that.

This fundraiser is inspired by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s “Not Just Lungs” campaign, which shines a light on the many lesser-known ways CF affects the body - including the reproductive system and fertility.

Our family knows this firsthand. A diagnosis of cystic fibrosis led us on an unexpected and emotional journey through infertility and IVF. After years of waiting and persevering, we were incredibly fortunate to welcome our son, Harrison - a long-awaited miracle who inspired the children’s book 'Good Night Little Rainbow'.

While our story is one of hope, we know that many individuals and families affected by cystic fibrosis continue to face daily challenges, unanswered questions, and difficult paths - especially when it comes to fertility, family planning, and long-term health.

That’s why we are raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, whose vital work supports research, education, advocacy, and care for people living with CF and their families.
