I am raising money for two charities which deserve my support.

As Chief Executive of the Inverness Ice Centre it is important that I play my part in raising much needed funds for the future of our community run facility and charity. We provide ice sports for all ages and abilities promoting health, fitness and mental wellbeing for Inverness and the surrounding Highland area. Our ice arena is a popular "off season" venue, hosting large community fundraising events in support of several Highland charities.

To be given the "all clear" after two years of prostate cancer treatment can be attributed directly to the years of research and successful clinical trials funded in part by Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate Cancer UK promote sponsored walks for their charity but what I'm doing is a twist on that theme by doing a FireWalk.

The charities I am therefore raising funds for are Inverness Ice Centre and Prostate Cancer UK with the funds raised being split equally.
