Story
I would like to raise money for this fabulous charity in memory of my lovely Dad, Gordon Bulmer.
Dad passed peacefully at his home on the 10th August 2025.
When Dad told me his wish to die at home it filled me with dread. How was I going to keep him comfortable and how was I going to manage with 24hr care.
And that’s where these angels come in.
Lawrence Nurses have cared for over 1300 patients in Oxfordshire; a team of 18 registered nurses provide palliative care free of charge to people in their home.
Local GP Dr Martin Lawrence's dying wish was that patients in his practice should be able to die at home; his wish was made a reality through the work of District Nurse Jane Phillips MBE.
The service has grown and now provides free, hospice at home care covering five Oxfordshire GP practices.
Our vision is a community where every person has access to free, hospice care at home.
So please if you are able to donate Dad and I would be so grateful, this is an incredible charity doing amazing work.
Thank you
