Story
I am walking both the Saturday 14 mile big stroll and the Sunday 23 mile mighty hike this weekend, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April to raise awareness of ME and fundraise for the ME Association.
My wife Catriona was diagnosed with ME in 2018 and the ME Association provided fantastic resources and support. There isn't a lot of other support out there so please support my fundraiser and help this amazing charity provide support people with ME and their families.
ME (Myalgic Encephalopathy), or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, blights the lives of over 400,000 people in the UK today. The smallest exertion can floor them; their joints and muscles ache unbearably; restful sleep eludes them; and ‘brain fog’ clouds their thinking. It changes lives drastically – disrupting study; making work impossible; and straining family relations to breaking point. Many sufferers cannot leave their homes. There is no known cure.
Please help us to help them.
