Lauren and I have experienced first-hand the incredible care, compassion, and support provided by the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team during the time our daughter was in their care. We can never thank the staff enough for the outstanding care and dedication they showed to our daughter and our family. We will always be deeply grateful for everything they did for us during such an important and difficult time.

To show our appreciation and give something back, my friend Michael and I have decided to take on a charity cycle challenge from St Andrews to Ayr — cycling from the east coast to the west coast of Scotland over two days and covering more than 200 miles.

Through this challenge, we hope to raise funds to support the incredible work carried out for babies, children, and families across Ayrshire. Every donation, big or small, will help provide essential care, equipment, and support for families when they need it most.
