Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Between 1988 and 1996, I served with 1st Btn Queens Own Highlanders, I was then employed by a local fuel distribution company before becoming a Paramedic with the Scottish Ambulance Service in 2009.
During my time as a Paramedic I have attended veterans who worked at Bletchley Park, the Women's Land Army, the Italian Campaign, more recent conflicts and currently serving members of the Armed Forces.
THE CHALLENGE
A round trip from Forres to Greece via France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania on my motorbike, a Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid with nothing more than a serving soldier would carry - a tent, stove, a few tools and minimal clothing. The trip will take me over tarmac, gravel roads and tracks, covering almost 7,000 miles over a six week period.
