Story

I'm raising money for Pilgrims Hospices by running the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 21st April 2024!

“I hate running!!!!” - Is what I’ve been saying to myself for nearly 30 years.

Turns out, once I got going I actually really like it.

In March 2023 I set myself a personal challenge to run 100k a month for an entire year. That challenge is still on track but I’m now looking to take my challenge to the next level by running a marathon

I have chosen the Pilgrims Hospices for all of the exceptional care and support they gave my friend Gemma Beasley who sadly lost her short battle with cancer in October 2022.

Gemma was 37 years old when she passed away and It’s a very sobering realisation for me, as I will be 37 years old when I run this marathon.

"smash it, go and smash life" - Gemma Beasley

Any donation, however great or small, will go a long way in helping the Pilgrims Hospices to continue with the wonderful work that they do.

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page.Your support is appreciated and so important, thank you.
