Balmoral's Stationary Cycle Event

Gordon's School is raising money for The Gordon Foundation

Stationary Cycle Event · 17 April 2026

The Gordon Foundation was founded by Royal Charter at the express wish of Queen Victoria as the National Memorial to Major-General Charles George Gordon, C B, who was killed in Khartoum in 1885. Since its foundation, Gordon's School has been privileged to have the reigning monarch as its Patron.

Story

In order to raise money for our school charities, Balmoral House are holding a Stationary Cycle Event. Every student and staff member will cycle for at least 10 minutes and our aim is to make it to Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.

Gordon's has one long term school charity and three further charities chosen annually by students and staff. The long term school charity is Kids for Kids and in addition Frimley Park Children’s Hospital, The Gurkha Welfare Trust and Hearing dogs for Deaf People will benefit from charitable giving this year.

Please keep an eye on our Social Media pages on Friday 17th April where we will keep you up to date on our challenge.

Many thanks in advance from everyone in Balmoral for any donation you make.
