Solace Women’s Aid exists to end the harm done through Violence Against Women and Girls. Their aim is to work to prevent violence and abuse as well as providing services to meet the needs of survivors particularly women and girls. The Women's Institute set out to give women a voice and to be a force for good in the community. Today, the WI is the largest women's organisation in the UK and we pride ourselves on being a trust place for women of all generations to share experiences and learn and support one another.

The Gothic Valley Women's Institute Group was started in early 2012 by a group of friends and like-minded women in London; The founding members were a mix of professionals and students, who in their spare time like baking, jam-making; crafting and wearing lots of black; We welcome women who would like to find out more about what we do.We are an inclusive group and invite anyone who identifies as female to join us.
