Gough and Kelly is raising money for CDKL5 UK
Story
Gough & Kelly are really pleased to be supporting CDKL5 UK in 2025. As part of our staff charity initiative, CDKL5 UK was nominated by one of our employees, Harry Fletcher, who shared his story and explained the unbelievable work carried out by the charity:
"Last year my niece was born and 3 months into her life she started experiencing aggressive seizures multiple times a day. Lots of tests were done over the course of a couple of months and it was drawn to the conclusion that she has a CDKL5 deficiency disorder. It affects 1 in 60,000 new borns.
"CDKL5 UK is a charity run by parents with children who have been affected by this disorder to provide support for other families who are going through the same things, as well as opening up opportunities for clinical trials. As it’s such a rare condition I feel as though more light should be shed on it".
To help fundraise, a team of 15 will be taking part in the Inflatable 5K Obstacle Course to run, jump and slide all the way to the finish line!
