Since 2010, Yoga Stops Traffick has raised over £250,000 to support the Odanadi Seva Trust, a pioneering anti-trafficking organisation based in Mysuru, South India. Odanadi works for the rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration of trafficked women and children. For more than 30 years Odanadi has been committed to providing a safe haven for survivors of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, slavery and domestic abuse.

I will be doing a total of 108 surya namaskaras ('sun salutations') in front of Mysuru Palace in order to raise money for Odanadi. The number 108 is an auspicious number in Hinduism as there is said to be be 108 energy lines converging to form the heart chakra; 108 pithas, or sacred sites in India; and, in astrological traditions, 108 also represents the nine planets.
