In July 2025, I had the privilege of travelling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on a mission trip with Audacious. Thanks to the love and generous support of family and friends, I was able to serve communities living in the favelas and witness firsthand the incredible work God is doing there.

During those two weeks, our team shared deeply special moments, from breaking bread with members of the local church to walking through alleyways and praying with local residents. The time I spent in the favelas left a deep and lasting impact on me. Since returning home, I have felt a clear and undeniable invitation from God to return to Brazil, this time to serve for a longer season.

I have committed to spending 6 months in Brazil starting in March. During this time, I will be living and serving alongside the team at Casa Cruzeiro, a community centre planted in the favela of Providência. Casa Cruzeiro opens its doors weekly to people of all ages, creating a safe and welcoming space for community, discipleship, and support. I will also be volunteering with other Christian mission teams working within favela communities, seeking to share the hope and love of Jesus.
