Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our just giving page.
We have always known that we are so lucky having Alder Hey on our doorstep, But recently we’ve been in a position were we have witnessed first hand their amazing work as they care for our amazing nephew Reuben.
Those of you who know us well will understand that there is nothing more important to us than our family, especially our babies
We want to raise as much money as possible to support this amazing charity and the work they do for the children and their families as well as our own.
Grace, Josh and Conner will be running the Chester metric marathon on the 8th of October 2023 to raise money for the charity.
Any donation is so greatly appreciated.
We will forever be grateful for everything they do.
The Charity-
Alder hey children’s kidney funds mission is to provide help to children with renal and urological disorders, through welfare assistance, supporting staff training and development, providing equipment, supporting research and other activities.
Alder Hey Children’s Kidney Fund was founded in 1968 by parents and friends of children with renal and urological disorders. In 1968 there was no specialised renal unit for children at Alder Hey Hospital and the fund was able to help financially to provide equipment for the unit. Over the years the work of the Fund has evolved to meet changing techniques and procedures but to this day still focuses on supporting children with renal and urological disorders.
