I’m taking on the Manchester Half Marathon to raise money in the hope of helping people and family’s living with dementia. Dementia has had a big impact on my girlfriend’s family, their Nonny was diagnosed with Dementia and has now sadly passed, seeing them lose their Non too soon and the affects of watching her deteriorate was heart breaking. She was the most amazing women that I got the pleasure of meeting but most importantly, she was an amazing Nonny to my girlfriend and her family. She is someone who was always smiling and laughing and doing the most in life. I want to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s and Dementia because 1 in 11 aged over 65 are diagnosed, with a following over 70,000 people developing early onset symptoms before aged 65. Let’s raise some awareness and money to help an incredible charity that is helping thousands of families everyday!
