On the 25th of January 2025 we will be walking 26 miles - a marathon from Seaham to Crimdon and back! It will be cold, long and test our navigation & walking skills (and how long we can put up with each other!!). As members of the exec for Revival, we are delighted to be raising money for such an incredible cause - Durham City of Sanctuary!

The Revival Charity Fashion Show is a collaborative community with the aim of raising money and awareness for our Charity Partner. Revival provides opportunities for students to contribute to a creative collective while championing our core values of altruism, advocacy, creativity, inclusion, environmentalism and collaboration. Most of all, Revival is daring, exciting and inclusive!

Revival are proud to support Durham City of Sanctuary this year. All proceeds from our fundraising efforts will be donated to support people seeking sanctuary from war and persecution.

Durham City of Sanctuary was formed in 2016 as part of the nationwide City of Sanctuary movement. Based in County Durham, they work to build opportunities for introductions and friendship between sanctuary seekers and local people, helping new arrivals to integrate into the community by creating a culture of welcome. They hold locally organised refugee support and solidarity groups, arrange distributions of vital supplies, raise awareness in schools, hold language classes and act as a rallying cry to organisations and individuals in a position to offer sanctuary and welcome.

During the lead up to the show, Revival host's events, workshops, socials, fundraisers and awareness of our charity partner. This years show will take place in February 2025 and is completely student led, with a team of 80 Durham University students working hard to ensure the show is accessible to and enjoyable by all. We invite all those involved to join a community of people striving to make a difference.
