Story
Members, volunteers and supporters of the AMAZING Henley Rowing club are taking part in an epic 24-hour rowing challenge to raise essential funds for new gym equipment and a safety boat to help keep our training environment safe, modern, and inspiring for everyone
Founded in 1839, Henley Rowing Club is proud to be a cornerstone of our town’s river heritage — a thriving, inclusive community welcoming rowers aged 12 to 80+. With the dedication of our incredible volunteer and coaching team, they help athletes develop from their first strokes to competing at national and international levels.
Our mission is to row the distance from Henley to Seville — the very place where our juniors hold their annual training camp. This challenge will be woven into the juniors’ and masters’ training programmes, giving every member the chance to participate — whether by rowing, cheering, or sponsoring teammates.
As a member of the junior team, I really want to contribute and help to make this happen!
With over 200 members, we’re aiming for full club spirit and community involvement! Please give what you can to support this amazing cause!
