A few of us from the Liverpool Women’s Hospital Imaging Team are running the LWH 10K at Sefton Park on Sunday 1st of September.

Not all of us are runners, however we really wanted to challenge ourselves and raise money for an amazing cause- to help decorate our Bereavement room in the scan department.

Our women and patients at LWH are at the heart of everything we do, and unfortunately as part of our role we have to deliver difficult and heartbreaking news to some. We are lucky to have a bereavement room within the imaging department for when this happens, but it just needs some TLC and personal touches added to make this a place of comfort for our patients when devastating news hits. We would really appreciate any donations to help make this happen!
