Story
Running my first half marathon in memory of my grandma, Elaine Mullins. She was a loving, intelligent and elegant woman and continued to be despite her Alzheimer's diagnosis. She was such a great grandma up until the end and I am so proud of her. She gracefully and bravely battled with this disease and I want to support the Alzheimer’s Society in helping others do the same.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future through research.
1 in 3 of us born in the UK today will develop dementia in our lifetimes.
£12 can pay for a friendly companion call to someone who is feeling alone and isolated.
£15 can pay for 40 DNA duplicators which are used to copy precious DNA samples. This provides a larger sample to run tests with, helping to create better results.
£30 can pay for two hours of expert guidance from a Dementia Adviser.
£115 provides a years worth of weekly check-in calls for someone living with dementia, helping to rid a life of loneliness.
This makes a massive difference and means so much to a person.
Thank you for your support!
