You may already know that my family has been visiting the Philippines for 17 years for missions. Part of the work of our charity “2 The Nations” helps outreach to the tribal people in the north of the Philippines the “Agtas”.

Part of our outreach with this community has been giving food packs to these families especially during times of need due to Typhoons which have left them with no food.

Recently God placed on my heart that it is good to feed these people physically but how about feeding them spiritually. This lead me to this project of providing the full Bible to these people in a language they can understand. The aim is to give each tribal family one Ilocano Bible, to help them grow spiritually. These families have had no access to the word of God in their homes as they don’t have smart phones.

In February 2024, we piloted this project at one of the tribal outreaches in the north of the Philippines. The local pastor helped the families to learn how to read the bible and has fed back how it has helped the people grow in their faith.

Each Bible is £5, inside has a message with the name of the donor and has been prayed for before distributing.
