Story
I will be running in the 2025 TCS London Marathon to raise vital funds and awareness for people living with epilepsy.
This is a charity that has supported my cousin Megan who says - “Epilepsy Action has changed my outlook on my life massively, joining their talk and support groups, as well as hosting them as a volunteer, and speaking with other people just like me going through the same experiences makes me feel so much less alone and has made me feel so much more positive regarding my epilepsy. Being able to give and receive advice from others is so heartwarming from someone like me having epilepsy. Family and friends have also said after the meetings I seem so much better and happier in myself.”
About epilepsy and Epilepsy Action:
Epilepsy affects over 626,000 people in the UK, including more than 50,000 children. Epilepsy Action offers a range of advice, information and practical support through their services to help people living with epilepsy. Services such as their Freephone helpline, Talk and support groups, Befriending service, E-learning resources.
By raising money for Epilepsy Action, you’ll be helping them to continue providing their services to help even more people living with epilepsy.
