I'm running the 2025 BMW Berlin Marathon for Alzheimer's Research UK for our Roy!

As many of you will know, my grandad (we all call him Roy) has played a huge role in my life and 5 years ago, he was diagnosed with Alzheimers. Throughout covid, I became his full time carer and my family continues to witness first hand the devastating effects this diseases has.

I'm running this marathon to raise money for a charity which can save so many families the heartbreak mine continues to go through so this run is for our Roy, but also for my mum, dad, Daniel and Gabs who continue to support and care for Roy for as long as we can.

Update: Sadly on the 12th of June this year we lost our lovely Roy. As a family we are heartbroken but are thankful those of you that have sent your love our way, we truly appreciate it. Roy isn't going to get to watch me cross the finish line, but I hope he watches over knowing that it was all for him <3
