Im fundraising in memory of my Dad, Nick Deakin, who spent his final two weeks at Loros.

Loros is an incredible place. The care my dad received was amazing, and the way they cared for me while I stayed by his side was just as amazing. Dad was able to access holistic therapies while he was there, and I was able to have counselling with them before Dad had even passed. And none of this would be possible without the donations they receive.

Thats why Im running the Leicester 10km this October. Im sure Dad would say 10km was easy, afterall he was one of the fittest people anyone knew, but this is a challenge for me and I hope dad can give me an extra push.
