Story
This April, I’m running the Manchester Marathon - my first full one - to raise funds for the British Red Cross. Having been part of the Irish Red Cross, I know the impact this kind of work has, not just in the UK, but around the world.
The British Red Cross supports people in crisis, whether that’s disaster relief, helping refugees, or getting essentials to families who’ve lost everything. Right now, their work is more important than ever.
If you fancy supporting both a good cause and my questionable life choices, here’s what your donation could do:
💧 £5 – Helps a community access clean water after a disaster.
🛁 £12 – Provides a hygiene pack for a refugee arriving in Ireland or the UK.
👶 £20 – Gives essential baby supplies to a parent who has lost everything.
🏡 £50 – Helps families prepare for severe flooding.
🔥 £75 – Keeps 150 people warm after a fire while they find shelter.
Every little helps, and I’d really appreciate the support – whether that’s a donation or just reminding me this was my own idea when I hit the 30km mark. Thanks a million! ❤️
