Touch Rugby Tournament · 18 May 2024

The Grace Dear Trust is a mental health charity recently set up after losing our daughter & sister Grace Dear to suicide aged just 27 in February 2017. We started this charity hoping to help save the lives of other young people suffering with mental health issues. Mental health affects 1 in 4 people and too many of them suffer without the help they need. We want change, letting people know “it’s ok not to be ok”. "Together We Are Stronger"

Story

Social Touch Rugby Tournament, 7 aside on half pitch. 5 minutes each half all money raised helps an amazing cause. 24 teams competing for four trophies. All welcome and mixed teams encouraged. (Over 18's). Held at Reeds Weybridge, Surrey.

To raise additional funds for the Charity, Henley Shipping and The 225 Club have combined forces to walk 52 miles in one go. They will be walking from Havant to Cobham on the 28th March. Departing at 0500 and hopefully arriving at the Plough arriving around 1800. Come join us at the finish line for celebratory drinks.

Our charity was set up after losing our beloved daughter and sister, Grace Dear, to suicide aged just 27 in

February 2017. Grace had been suffering with depression and anxiety from the age of 13, but hadn’t felt she could reach out to anyone to help her make sense of her feelings. Not knowing why she felt the way she did, she suffered in silence for many years.

Our trust works to educate young people, encouraging them to talk about their feelings and make mental health an everyday topic of conversation. "it's ok not to be ok"
