Story
Our daughter (and honorary MUW staff member) Grace is obsessed with her long hair. For the longest time she has not allowed us to cut it. However, after talking about the affects of Cancer treatments in children, her understanding the importance of having hair and why it might be upsetting to not have hair, Grace has decided she’s going to cut her hair to help other children in need.
The “big trim” will be happening at The Moon Under Water in Colindale on December 4th at 11am and will coincide with our Christmas cake stall and tombola. The hair is being cut by the wonderful Sharon from Mackin Scissors in Burnt Oak. Grace is wanting to donate around 15inches of hair to The Little Princess Trust (who make wigs for children going through cancer treatments) and aim to raise £100 per inch trimmed for Young Lives Vs Cancer who is the company’s chosen charity.
Please if you can spare even the smallest amount, she will be so pleased. Also leave a message if you wish as we will read all of them to her!
