Hi, my name is Roux and I’m 9 years old. I am doing a Lego walk to raise money for Rotherham Hospice, a place that helped my great-grandma, Dod, when she was very poorly. I was nearly 2 when she passed. The Hospice was such a kind place where I could visit her without feeling scared. The nurses and staff there were so nice and made sure Dod felt comfortable and loved.

Later, when Dod was at home, the Hospice at Home team continued to help her. They made sure she was well looked after, even when she was at home, and I want to say thank you by raising money for them.

To raise the money, I’m going to walk over Lego! It will hurt a lot, but I’m doing it because I want to help the hospice help other people like Dod. Every donation will make a difference and help people in need of care.
