Story
I’m running the Saucony London 10k on 12 July 2026, and this one means a lot more to me than just crossing a finish line.
I’ve lived with endometriosis for years—through hospital visits, days stuck in bed, and moments where it’s completely taken over my life. So this run? It’s my way of pushing back. A bit of a middle finger to endometriosis, if I’m honest.
But it’s not just about me. It’s about everyone else going through this—those still waiting for answers, still being dismissed, still dealing with pain that people don’t always understand. Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and people assigned female at birth, yet it’s still so misunderstood, and diagnosis can take years. That needs to change.
I’m raising money for Endometriosis UK to help support the work they do—providing information, support networks, and fighting for better awareness, treatment, and ultimately a proper cure. Because we deserve more than temporary fixes, more than being told to just live with it, and more than extreme options like removing ovaries or being pushed into early menopause.
If you’re able to donate, you’re not just supporting my run—you’re helping push for real change. For better understanding, better care, and a future where people don’t have to suffer in silence.
Let’s do something about it.
