We are setting up this page in memory of or beloved mother, Margaret Capes who sadly passed away on 9th October 2024.

The Hull Churches Home from Hospital Service provided welcome and essential assistance to our elderly father, Raymond Capes, before his death in 2022 as he struggled to care for our mother as her Vascular Dementia took hold.

Although the physical and emotional burden was immense, he was determined to look after her in her own home for as long as was humanly possible.

The HCHFH made this possible. They provided a regular carer / companion for my mother, giving my father a much needed hour's respite to collect himself and carry on.

Their valuable work offers a compassionate lifeline to countless families across Hull. We are asking for no floral tributes at our mother's funeral, Oct 30th 12pm at Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium but please donate what you can to the Hull Churches Home from Hospital Service in her memory, either through this page or to the collection box which will be available during the service.
