Graeme's fundraiser for Katharine House Hospice - Stafford

Graeme Cook is raising money for Katharine House Hospice - Stafford
In memory of Peggy Cook - My Mum

A minimum of 100km Running in official running events, occasionally being joined by family

We aim to enable patients with life limiting conditions to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time they have, as well as supporting their loved ones. It costs almost £4m a year to provide vital free care services and we rely heavily on the support from our community.

Story

Sadly my mum recently passed away from cancer. She was lucky enough to receive care from this fantastic hospice. They made her as comfortable as possible throughout and provided help and support to my family during an emotive and difficult time.

I am aiming to run 100km across a number of events in towns and cities that meant something to mum. Starting June 1st with the Sutton Fun Run. And if the £1000 target is hit, before the end of the 100km I have pledged, I will run 100 miles instead of 100km. The more we raise, the further I will run!

I have family who will be joining me on some of my runs, and will add more info when confirmed. The first confirmed is Kirstie-Ann Jones who will join me for the Stafford 10k.

Also as added incentive, I have matched fundraising for up to a £1000. Any donations up to that amount will be effectively doubled. Don’t forget to do Gift Aid too!

85km completed so far!
