We are raising money for Surfers Against Sewage as they are the primary charity involved with trying to put pressure on the government to clean up britains waterways and coastline. It’s a cause close to all the hearts of every kind of watersports enthusiast and conservationists. We’re hoping this event will both raise cash and more importantly awareness of all the terrible things that are currently happening around our beautiful British coastline because of years of underinvestment and mismanagement by the water companies charged with cleaning and treating our sewage water. Our aim is to get as many good kitesurfers as possible to get fancy dressed up (untreated discharge and single use plastic themed) and kite from Margate up to Whitstable or vice Verda (depending on wind direction) to raise awareness and money to help fight this ridiculous practise
