Welcome to the 6th annual Kitesurf down wind fundraiser. This year rather than being run by the local kiteschools it will be organised under the umbrella of the East Kent Kite Club. This a newly formed BKSA registered club designed to bring the whole of east Kent’s kite community together.

This years fundraiser will be in aid of Porchlight. They are Kent based charity started 30 years ago. They aim to help the homeless and vulnerable and support people with nowhere to go and no one to turn to. Homelessness is still on the increase and nothing troubles me more this time of year than seeing people sleeping in doorways and bus shelters. Hopefully the funds we raise will help a little towards easing the troubles of people that find themselves in this position in our local community
