Story
From June 2–6, I’ll be taking on a marathon golf challenge: 5 rounds of golf a day, for 5 consecutive days — all to raise vital funds for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, which supports research into Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
I’ll be walking the equivalent of a marathon a day, hitting 400–500 shots per day, and playing pretty much non-stop for 17.5 hrs from 4:30am 10:00pm — all on the incredible (and hilly) courses of Gullane, Luffness, Kilspindie and Longniddry.
This is about pushing my limits for a cause that truly matters.
MND is a brutally cruel disease, and right now there’s no cure — but with more funding, there’s hope.
I’m aiming to raise £25,000 to support the Foundation’s incredible work — and every single donation, big or small, makes a real difference.
To follow the challenge as it unfolds, follow us @RoyalandAwesome — we’ll be sharing all the highs and lows.
Thank you for your support. Let’s Go!
