A few years ago, I supported Nick and Ian when they did their 5 marathons in 5 days challenge in support of Bodie Hodges. Since that date, I’ve learned more about that charity and the support they provide to families bereaved of a child. The work is inspirational. I can’t imagine the sense of loss, and in my career as a teacher I’ve seen first hand the impact that losing a child can have on a family.
