London to Paris 2024 · 7 June 2024

28 parent cyclists take on the Sponsored London - Paris Cycle Challenge to raise £25,000 for FOSS, The Flying Seagull Project, ADHD Embrace and Moormead Pavilion Project. 7-8 June 2024. Thank you for your support!

Story

When my nine year-old son, James, came home one day last December and announced he’d like me to cycle from London to Paris to raise funds for his school and some local charities, my first thought was: “I don’t even own a bike!”

But his little cherub face was so full of passion and hope as he looked up at me expectantly, and our local communities are in need of help now more than ever. So I simply couldn’t turn it down.

I’ve spent the past few months getting to know my fellow cyclists and peddling up and down London, Surrey and Berkshire in anticipation of the 170 miles I will be taking on, along with 27 others from St Stephen’s CE Primary School, from 7 June to 8 June.

Please consider giving whatever you can afford - your donation will go towards the benefit of all children at St Stephen’s, as well as a new pavilion for Moor Mead, another passion and endeavour very close to my heart and that of our St Margaret’s community. In addition to these, we will also be donating The Flying Seagull Project and the ADHD Project for children.

Many thanks for all your support!

Graeme
