Graeme, Alex and Gina raise money for Great North Air Ambulance Service

Great North Run 2025 · 7 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
2025 marks 10 years since The Great North Air Ambulance saved our Dad’s life. In 2015, he had a life-changing accident which resulted in him being in hospital for four months with a severe head injury and eventually a titanium plate in his head. If it wasn’t for GNAAS and the amazing treatment he had in the RVI, it’s not an overstatement to say he wouldn’t be with us here today.
In 10 years there have been 2 weddings, 6 grandchildren born and just one CUFC promotion, all of which we would’ve had to experience without dad had he not received such rapid life saving care. We’re each therefore taking on a challenge to raise some much needed money for GNAAS. Gina is completing the Newport marathon in April (on her birthday!!!) and Alex and Graeme will be running the Great North Run in September.
Any donations are much appreciated, thank you x
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to 1,640 call outs last year* alone, via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.
