Me and my mate Iain are walking the famous west highland way for Alzheimer Scotland ! We plan to do this over 5 days regardless of the weather - camping or staying at accommodation on route . We will be paying for our own equipment and accommodation therefore all money donated will be going straight to charity. Hopefully we have good weather but doing it none the less - Iain is also who completed the sky dive for Alzheimer Scotland a few years back. All for a good cause .

Since the memory walk is back this year and at the end of the month , instead of doing two separate fundraising , I will be combining the total - as all going to alzheimer Scotland anyway

Sunday 29th September I will be doing the memory walk with my family and my Mum will be coming . This is back to an event this year so there are various across Scotland on different dates, I will be doing Glasgow .

I will get plenty of footage from each event and photos and update as I go along .

Alzheimer Scotland is close to my heart due to my mother’s Alzheimer’s journey. They have helped my family out massively and continue to help others. When you obtain a diagnosis there isn’t much help. Alzheimer Scotland help with all the info and what your entitled to, or even if you just need to chat to someone . Helping both the carer and the person living with Alzheimer’s .

It is very much underfunded as most people don’t know or worry about Alzheimer’s unless you know someone who has it or work in that area. It’s one of the biggest killers in the uk this year , because there is no cure . There is plenty of work going on behind the scenes but right now so many are struggling and we need to help those first !
