Story

Graf UK’s Rowing Challenge

We are excited to extend a special invitation to you to be part of a unique and heartwarming event—the Graf UK Rowing Challenge. This challenge is not just a test of endurance; it’s a powerful statement of our commitment to supporting our local hospice.

Starting on Tuesday 13th February, at 8pm.

Challenge: Our team will row a staggering 344 miles (544,000 metres) on rowing machines in the Graf UK Gym, which is the equivalent of a journey from our Glasgow Branch to our Banbury Head Office, within 24 hours!

Live Streaming: The entire event will be streamed live, capturing every moment of this exciting challenge.

Your support can significantly impact the lives of those cared for by our local Katharine House Hospice. We warmly invite you to participate in this event as a valued sponsor. Katharine House Hospice, established by Neil Gadsby and his friends following the death of his daughter Katharine, is a sanctuary for end-of-life care. Serving around 1,300 individuals annually, it offers holistic support, including medical, emotional, and spiritual care, extending beyond patients to families and carers. Providing services free of charge, the hospice relies on community support to meet its annual £4.7 million operating costs. Each donation to the Graf UK Rowing Challenge directly contributes to maintaining their compassionate care and support for those facing life-limiting illnesses.
