GRAF UK is proud to be the headline sponsor of Katharine House Hospice's Pace Around the World challenge this June.

Katharine House Hospice is our local hospice, based just down the road from our office in Banbury. They provide free, specialist care to people living with life-limiting illness across North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire — and they need to raise over £7 million every year to keep doing it. Many of our team have a personal connection to the hospice, which makes this partnership one that matters to all of us.

As a company, supporting our local community is part of who we are. We've been a long-standing partner of Katharine House Hospice and when we heard about Pace Around the World, it felt like a natural fit. It's a challenge that brings people together, gets everyone moving, and raises vital funds for a cause that's close to home. We wanted to back it as headline sponsors because we believe in what the hospice does and we want to help them hit their target.

We didn't just want to put our name on it — we wanted to get stuck in. GRAF UK is covering the registration fee for every member of our team who takes part, and throughout June we'll be organising weekly events to keep us all moving. From lunchtime walks to run clubs, we're finding every excuse to get out and rack up those miles together.

Pace Around the World runs throughout the month of June. The goal is simple: hundreds of people across the community collectively cover over 40,000 miles — the distance around the globe — by tracking their steps and movement. Walking, running, cycling, swimming, yoga, gardening — it all counts. Every participant is asked to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship, and every penny goes directly to supporting the care that Katharine House provides.
