Story

Thank you for visiting this page and for any support you’re able to give.

I’m Matt, fundraising in memory of my dad, Graham Arthur Oxley. We’ve chosen Macmillan Cancer Support because throughout Dad’s cancer journey, we couldn’t have imagined getting through the whole process without the Macmillan nurses — especially Madeline and Ceri.

They were there right from the diagnosis, in appointments with us, and on the phone whenever I needed to call. They were also there in person at Weston General Hospital whenever we needed them. They helped us make sense of what was happening and supported us through the difficult moments with compassion, kindness and reassurance every step of the way.

Dad appreciated them immensely, and he said himself that he wanted to donate and fundraise for them. This journey would have been a hundred times harder without their support.

If you’re able to donate, thank you. It means a great deal to us, and it will help Macmillan continue to be there for other families who need them.

Thank you!

Matt
