The Liverpool Half Marathon on 15th March is my second half marathon. This time, I thought I would try to raise some money for charity and I immediately recognised Liverpool Zoe's Place from the list of charities offered.

Many of you will remember Liverpool Zoe's Place in the national news towards the end of 2024 when, faced with losing their premises, the people of Liverpool and beyond raised sufficient funds to enable a move to as state of the art new facility.

Liverpool Zoe’s Place is a hospice providing for the needs of babies and younger children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. They provide care for the whole family, not just the child offering holistic therapies and dedicated support for parents and carers. From relaxation treatments to counselling, services are designed to provide comfort, reduce stress, and support all family members.

My initial target is deliberately modest but I hope to be able to raise much more with your support for this really worthwhile cause.
